My name is Brittany. I'm 10 years old and I would like to share a few things about my one and only uncle, Brian Porter. For starters, he was a great uncle who loved kids and was great with kids. He was a loving, caring uncle who would do anything for his family. I remember when my uncle Brian, my sister, my brother and I would play basketball. It was so much fun! My uncle was a lot taller than us and my brother knows nothing about basketball so that was no help! But, we did have a lot of fun! And, we sure did eat good when my uncle was here. He would always take charge of the grill. His grilling was the best! One of my most cherished memories of my uncle Brian was a bear, a simple, little teddy bear that means so much to me! One day we went all the way to Frisco only to go to Build-A-Bear Workshop. Build-A-Bear workshop is a place where children can go, pick out, stuff, dress, and name a stuffed animal. I named my bear Kaley after my cousin. I promised my uncle that I would always have that bear by my side and I intend to keep that promise! We were all devastated when we found out that our uncle Brian had passed away! It was really unexpected and we are all going to miss him so, so much! But, he is in a good place now in Heaven and may you rest in peace, Uncle Brian! I love you and I miss you!
